How can I help you?
"May you respond to the call of your gift and find the courage to follow its path." John O'Donohue, Eternal Echoes
When you start to follow a spiritual path, you're excited aren't you? Now you know how everything works. You'll meditate, You'll feel wonderful and then your life will be bliss forever more.
So what happens when it isn't all bliss?
The thing is that if you're on spiritual journey, sometimes it still feels like an uphill struggle, sometimes a breeze and sometimes just blessedly calm and peaceful.
Even if we follow a teacher, a faith or a method, we each have to find our own way don't we since we all have individual experiences, backgrounds and life histories. We still have the human existence to cope with as well as the joy of divine connection.
What you can find on this site
What I'm offering you are the results of my many experiments and explorations. At one time I might have called the things that didn't work out as I planned, failures.
Now I know there are no such thing as failures, only different ways of trying to expand our connection with the divine or however you name that greater than you feeling, you have inside you.)
How do we manage a spiritual life in the everyday?
How do we negotiate the rapids and the rocks in the ever-flowing river of grace we want to be part of?
That's what I offer you on this website. The ways of managing that work for me.
You see I'm no good with the theory of it. Yes I read, or try to read the texts and philosophies. I admit to struggling and yet...
sometimes I get it. a tiny piece of wisdom.
Then before I lose it again, I have to find a way of applying it to what's happening to me moment by moment.
That's it really. I have very little high faluting philosophy to share with you.
Only the practical. Such as the Spiritual Insights for Writers that I find or my speakers offer that I want to share.
The Wednesday at One Meditations which I started for myself because I needed it. That pause, a deliberate stepping back.
It's only 15 minutes and I reckoned I needed to spare that 15 minutes from everything else. So I decided to share it with you.
I hope it helps.
Once, sometimes twice a year, I offer a Writing From Your Heart Online Gathering. You can find out more by clicking through on the picture above.
Sometimes it helps to have someone to walk side by side with you, whether it's mentoring for a book, going through a crisis or just somebody to listen to you. (my friends tell me I'm good at that)
You can find out more on the Work with Eileen page
Thanks for visiting the site and I wish you all blessings
