During my segment in last year's Writing From Your Heart Online Gathering, I talked about surrendering to Spirit (you may call the same thing Source or God).
It's been a sticky topic... and action for me for some years and I thought I'd made a major breakthrough last year which led indirectly to me hosting the series.
After talking to Tina yesterday, our discussion has left me wondering about the level of my surrender. Which isn't a comfortable place to be right now.
However, if there are no accidents, then choosing Tina to interview has to be a lesson for me. Or several lessons.
And makes me wonder about the levels, or layers of surrender possible. Sometimes I listen to one of Craig Hamilton's meditations about letting go. That's it, just seeing how much you can let go of during the meditation.
This can include:
thoughts of past
plans for future
ideas of who you are
and so on
I've certainly never reached a place in that meditation where I feel I've let go of everything.
So I ask myself post discussion with Tina, what precisely should I now be letting go of at this point in my journey?
What are your experiences of surrender and what have they included?
