This morning I drew the card for Zaphkiel, who covers such issues as personal compassion and sacred loving.
It made me laugh because it was an immediate answer to a question I didn't even know I'd asked.
While I was cleaning my teeth I'd pondered about my physical face and had a conversation in my head, with somebody I will meet in a few weeks time. It was about my attitude to my looks and where that had come from.
The card that I picked had a picture of an eagle (personification of the god Jupiter) carrying Ganymede (representation of beauty)
And the text drew my attention to accepting my personal beauty. As a divine being.
I laughed again because it was a swift reminder not to tell myself an old story that is no longer relevant.
